In our country, hallmarks are assigned by independent entities – the Portuguese Assay Office – which ensures compliance with the legal standards required in jewelry making. This process holds both the manufacturer of the piece and the certifying body accountable, guaranteeing impartiality and trust.

All our gold, silver, and platinum pieces are legally hallmarked, that is, stamped with an official seal issued by the Portuguese Assay Office, certifying the legal fineness of the precious metals, in accordance with the Legal Regime of Jewelry and Assay Offices — Law no. 98/2015, of August 18.

How to verify the hallmark on your piece:

Locate the hallmark — look for the small stamp engraved inside the piece (ring), on the back (earrings), or on the clasp (necklaces/bracelets).

Observe the symbol — identify the shape and the number inscribed (e.g.: 800, 925, etc.).

Compare with the official chart — consult the hallmark chart from the Portuguese Assay Office to confirm it matches the correct metal and fineness.
